FORT DEL PILAR, Baguio City, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte arrived late, delaying the graduation of Philippine Military Academy “Mabalasik” Class of 2019 which was scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

The cadets began marching to form into squads at Borromeo Field after 10:30 a.m. but were stopped when the presidential motorcade arrived at the academy at 10:55 a.m.

While Duterte proceeded to the grandstand of the Borromeo Field, a song performed by Duterte-supporter Freddie Aguilar played in the background.

The ceremony proceeded as soon as Duterte took his seat alongside Vice President Leni Robredo and Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana.
