2 ‘fake’ Customs employees nabbed

TWO individuals posing as employees of the Bureau of Customs (BoC) have been arrested by joint operatives of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) and the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG).
Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero on Thursday identified the two as Primo Baldon and Richard Lagrolia following their arrest in an entrapment operation at Gate 1, Port Area, Manila.
Based on the initial report of the BOC Intelligence Group (IG), the group’s modus was to post vehicle for sale on social media at a very cheap price to “lock-in” the agreement for immediate meet up.
But the item, which the two claimed to have been seized by customs, was non-existent.
