A second racist interaction in Metro Vancouver has been captured on video.

In an interview with City News, an Asian woman who asked not to be identified said she was outside a Richmond condo when she noticed a man washing his car in a parking spot where the strata restricts car washing.

When the woman moved in closer to take a photo of the man’s license place to report to the strata council, she told City News that the man began spraying her and her car with a hose before launching into a rant.

“I hate the f-cking Chinese, you know,” the man can be heard saying toward the camera. Behind him, a posted sign reads “No car washing permitted” in English and Chinese, as another bystander can be heard pointing out.

“Go back to your country if you don’t like it. Yeah, f-ck you,” he said, while making a gesture with his hand.

The latest video and interaction was first reported by City News on Sunday evening.

It’s the second video capturing a racist confrontation within a week.

Last week, a woman at a Burnaby Shoppers Drug Mart was filmed berating shop employees for speaking a different language.

“Speak English in Canada,” she can be heard yelling. “You’re rude. You are rude. Go somewhere else.”

The video was captured by a bystander and shared to Facebook.

A spokeswoman for Loblaw Canada, which owns Shoppers Drug Mart, says the company has been in touch with the Burnaby store and will offer additional resources and support to staff if required.

“The incident that took place on Monday was unacceptable and extremely disappointing to see. It has absolutely no place in our stores. We believe fully in two-way respect between our employees and our customers and were appalled to see that behaviour,” Catherine Thomas said in a statement to Postmedia News.
