Dior

Addict Lip Glow Oil

They say: A “nurturing” lip oil from the French beauty lineup at Dior that features cherry oil to smooth and hydrate. The non-sticky formula has a balm-like texture and gives lips a kiss of shine, while Color Reviver technology reacts to the moisture levels in lips to produce a unique colour that’s unique to each wearer.

We say: Our tester tried the cherry pink shade 007 Raspberry, which appeared quite bright in the bottle but went on nice and sheer on lips. The product gives lips an instant hit of soothing moisture — yes, even winter-chapped skin — a gave our tester’s pout a pretty flush. Beauty bonus points for not feeling sticky or greasy.

Wild Grace

Vata Body Oil

They say: This body oil from the Montreal-based brand Wild Grace is certified organic and suitable for dry skin. The formula, which features plant-based ingredients, is cruelty free, GMO free and vegan, promises to protect, relieve and soothe skin while visibly rejuvenating.

We say: The smell on this body oil is strong, but it’s spa-like and a wonderful treat post-shower and before bed. Our tester used the oil from chest-to-toe and was pleased with how well it absorbed (more like a dry oil) and left her skin feeling soft and smooth.

Arbonne

Bio-Hydria Gel Cleanser

They say: A gel facial cleanser that features witch hazel to clean skin gently, removing makeup and other surface impurities, without leaving skin feeling “taut”. Vegan and cruelty free.

We say: Our tester put this scent-free cleanser into her regular rotation and was pleased with its cleaning powers. A loyal double-cleanser (OK, and sometimes triple), she noted this product proved to remove impurities without leaving skin feeling stripped.
