What it is: A new face palette from Benefit Cosmetics that features five shades (including a few new hues).

The limited-edition palette includes: Dallas (a rosy bronze blush); Sugarbomb (a rosy pink blush); Cookie (a golden pearly highlighter); Georgia (a golden-peach blush); and Hoola (a matte bronzer).

The all-in-one face kit also includes a small application brush for on-the-go touch-ups and a generously sized mirror.

What we say: The colours in this palette really pop. Not in a difficult-to-wear way, but rather, in a way that ensures that every sweep of the application brush counts.

Our tester was pleased with how well the pressed powders applied, leaving behind noticeable colour that was easy to blend and diffuse onto skin for a natural look or layer on for a more contoured creation.

While all five shades are worth trying on one’s skin, it’s Georgia, a softy peachy blush and Cookie, a bold champagne sparkler, that were our tester’s favourites.

Cookie made highlighting a breeze, providing a light-reflecting infusion of colour and sparkle wherever it was placed, while Georgia is a nice alternative to more pink-blush shades but still gives cheeks a nice soft flush.

Where to get it: Sephora; benefitcosmetics.com.

What it will cost you: $80.
