MANILA — Emirates will hold its first pilot recruitment roadshow in the Philippines later this month as the Dubai-based carrier expands its flight deck crew to meet surging global travel demand, the airline announced Thursday.

The recruitment drive, organized in partnership with local agency Industrial Personnel and Management Services, Inc. (IPAMS), will take place in Manila on October 28 and 29.

The carrier said it is seeking experienced commercial aviators for roles as First Officers, Direct Entry Captains, and applicants under its Accelerated Command Programme. The sessions will also feature details on Emirates’ campaign transitioning pilots directly from narrowbody to widebody aircraft.

“Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleets across a global network,” said Khalid Al Zarooni, Emirates’ Country Manager for the Philippines.

“We look forward to welcoming more pilots from the Philippines onboard our airline as we ramp up our operations globally.”

Selected pilots will be based in Dubai and complete training at the airline’s facilities, including its newly opened $135 million Crew Training Centre equipped with six full-flight simulator bays for Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X aircraft.

Emirates is bolstering its long-haul fleet, having already received 27 Airbus A350s with an additional 47 on order, alongside orders for 270 Boeing 777X jets.

The carrier said successful candidates will receive tax-free salaries, company-provided accommodation, child education allowances, and 42 days of annual leave with family flight tickets.
