Maja Salvador shares how motherhood made her a better actress: ‘Feeling ko mas lumalim ako’

It’s been four years since we last saw her in th ABS-CBN series The Iron Heart and a lot has already happened in actress Maja Salvador’s life.

She got married to Rambo Nuñez in 2023 and then the couple welcomed their first child Maria in 2024 when Maja gave birth in Canada. Now that she’s making her first major acting comeback in the ongoing series Someone, Someday, Maja admitted that her acting has definitely changed for the better now that she is a mom.

So yung love na meron ako ngayon is umaapaw talaga.

Talagang yung sinasabing unconditional love , parang mas higit pa dun,” she shared during the Preview Ball red carpet interviews last month.

The 38-year-old actress, who she plays the role of the scheming and vengeful Abi Mercado in the series, said she appreciated all the positive feedback from viewers who love watching her character in the show.

So thank you, thank you,” she said.

On screen, Maja plays the secret half-sister of Billy Carino (played by Kathryn Bernardo) who wants to bring her down as revenge for being their father’s second family. In real life, the two actresses are actually good friends.

Now that we’re done shooting, yung taping namin tapos na, but siyempre continuous pa rin palabas yung show.

Another proof of Maja’s strong acting return is how fans are excited over her unexpectedly strong chemistry with co-star McCoy De Leon who plays her sidekick slash suitor in the romantic thriller series.

“Sa set sinasabi nila (malakas chemistry namin). Pero parang ako, ‘Ano ba? Meron ba?’ parang ganyan. And siyempre hindi naman tayo parang pumartner, mag-love team. Kung kailan nagkaanak saka nagka-love team! (laughs) “
