Sarah Lahbati sparks romance rumors after sharing photos with mystery man on birthday

Sarah Lahbati caught the attention of netizens after sharing glimpses of her 33rd birthday celebration, including photos and videos featuring a mystery man. 

The actress reposted birthday greetings from her loved ones on her Instagram Story on October 9. Among the posts that sparked curiosity was a boomerang video showing Sarah sitting beside a man, with her one arm wrapped around him while holding her birthday cake with the other. 

Sarah also shared several posts from an Instagram account under the username “Schmikmikmik,” which featured moments between the two. 

In one photo, the pair posed for a mirror selfie, accompanied by a birthday message from the man that read: “Happy birthday to this wonder woman.” 

Another post showed Sarah lying on a countertop and smiling toward the camera as the man took her photo. 

A separate image featured the two embracing against a sunset by the beach, with the man carrying Sarah in his arms. 

The account appears to belong to a media and music executive whose Instagram profile is followed by Sarah’s celebrity friends Ellen Adarna and Isabelle Daza. 

Netizens identified the man as Mikhail Schemm, co-founder and managing director of a live events company.  

However, Sarah has yet to confirm his identity or clarify the nature of their relationship. 

Sarah was previously married to actor Richard Gutierrez in 2020. The former couple shares two children, Zion and Kai. 

In 2024, Sarah confirmed that she and Richard were no longer together. She also revealed at that time that they are not on speaking terms but are co-parenting their children. 

Last March, Richard said that their co-parenting setup is doing good.  

“Okay naman, we have equal time with the kids. So far, everything is okay naman.” 

The former couple is now undergoing an annulment process. Richard is also currently dating actress Barbie Imperial.
