Dimples Romana shares construction of family’s dream house: ‘Foundation pa lang, naiiyak na kami’
Someone Someday actress and host Dimples Romana got emotional as she shared a glimpse of the construction of her and husband Boyet Ahmee’s dream home.
In a recent social media post, Dimples expressed her joy and gratitude as she watched their family’s “mountain home” slowly come to life, beginning with its foundation.
“What do your dreams sound like? 🥹 for us it’s the sound of birds singing and praising all day, the wind coming from all directions of our home on the way, the trucks coming in and out, the first cement pour to seal the very foundation of our mountain home 🥹,” Dimples said.
The couple added how thankful they are to the team who are helping them to make their dream home possible: “@papaboyetonline and I are incredibly blessed to have living guardian angels who protect and care for us all our days 🙌🏻.”
Seeing the first steps of their home being built proved to be an emotional moment for the couple, especially after years of working toward the dream.
“Just to know and feel God’s grace in every step of this home build is just awe inspiring 🥹 I can’t wait to tell you all about how we’re building and how we came from nothing to something ❤️ Foundation pa lang, naiiyak na kami 🥹🥹🥹 Paano pa pag may pader na 🥹,” she wrote. “So from breadwinners like us to you, keep dreaming, keep moving forward, don’t let others dim your light.”
Dimples also looked back on the moments when she would motivate herself to keep going despite the exhaustion that came with her work.
“Dati pag nagmamaneho ako pauwi galing taping, Nagdadasal ako speaking to God like I speak to a friend, ang sabi ko , ‘Lord Grabe na ang pagod ko po, pero I don’t have to tell you that because you know me, and my heart and what’s in it. But I will keep going kasi sigurado akong may pupuntahan ang lahat ng pagod, sakripisyo at sipag na ito’,” she said.
Looking back on her career and personal journey, Dimples also talked about how she takes pride in the hard work she and her husband have put into building their dreams.
“So in my career, I have never been the prettiest, nor the sexiest 🫣☺️ or the best but I can proudly say my hubby and I would be two of the most hardworking people you’ll ever meet in life.”
“For we don’t ever work for fame, not ever for power, but for dreams that were once only dreams if not for the many days we have humbly kept our heads down and let God, Mama Mary and our angels do all the work 🥰 One day I wish to tell you stories of our living guardian angels for now we keep still ☺️,” she expressed.
Ending her heartfelt message, Dimples reminded her fellow breadwinners to remain patient and persistent in pursuing their dreams: “Pwedeng mapagod, pero bawal ang sumuko 🙏💪 Padayon! Til our next update 🏠🏗️❤️”
The actress first shared their plans to build their dream home in July after months of making decisions, praying, and considering a move closer to where their children go to school.
“After months of redirection and prayers, between work and business and moving to our home closer to where our boys go to school, eto na tayo sa exciting part 🥹🥰 to build another DREAM home 🏡 of our family. Blood, sweat and tears yan- LITERAL 😘😆 at proud kami dyan! ❤️❤️❤️ pinagpaguran yan!,” Dimples said.
