Nikko Natividad asks for prayers as wife Cielo undergoes emergency surgery in Singapore

Actor and entrepreneur Nikko Natividad asked for prayers for his wife, Cielo Natividad, after she was rushed to the emergency room during their family trip to Singapore.

On Instagram, the former Hashtag member shared the unexpected turn of events, revealing that what was supposed to be a birthday celebration for his wife became a medical emergency.

“Pumunta kame ng singapore para mag celebrate ng birthday ni misis. Sinugod sya sa ER.Hindi namin alam na 6 weeks na pala syang pregnant 🫣,” Nikko wrote.

He later explained that Cielo had an ectopic pregnancy, which required immediate surgery because of the risks to her health.

“Wala kaming choice kung di pa operahan sya agad agad dito sa SG dahil delikado daw at ectopic pregnancy sya. Nakakalungkot dahil syempre nawalan kami ng anak,” he added.

As Cielo underwent the operation, Nikko turned to their family, friends, and followers to ask for prayers for her safety and recovery.

“Pero ang dasal ko ngayon maging ok si wife🙏🏻 6hrs na hindi pa rin sya lumalabas operating room. Sa mga kaibigan pamilya namin we need your prayers ❤️🙏🏻,” he said.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, an ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, most commonly in a fallopian tube. The condition can become life-threatening and requires emergency treatment.

Netizens expressed their support for the couple in the comments section, offering prayers for Cielo’s successful operation and recovery.

Nikko later shared a photo of himself holding Cielo’s hand, accompanied by a brief message of gratitude: “Thank you 🙏🏻❤️.”

In a subsequent update, Cielo was reported to have been transferred to a hospital room following the surgery.

Nikko and Cielo tied the knot in November 2021 and have two children, Aiden and Aiz.

Earlier this week, the couple traveled to Singapore with their children for an extended birthday celebration for Cielo. Before the medical emergency, Nikko had shared moments from their trip, including their visit to the iconic Merlion statue.
