Family secrets? What Zoren, Carmina, Mavy, and Cassy discovered about each other after “GGV”

You’d think that living under the same roof means you already know pretty much everything about each other, right? Well, if there’s one thing the Legaspis learned from their “Gandang Gabi Vice” guesting, it’s that there’s still room for a few surprises. Between all the laughter and juicy revelations on “GGV,” Zoren, Carmina, Mavy, and Cassy ended up learning a little something new about each family member.

For Mavy, one of the best parts of their “GGV” experience was getting a front-row seat to his dad’s hilarious banter with Vice Ganda. He’d already seen their comedic chemistry during his parents’ first appearance on the show back in 2016, but watching the two go at it live was way more entertaining.

Cassy agreed, adding that the episode was extra special as she and Mavy got to join their parents this time around. Meanwhile, Carmina was happy that viewers witnessed more of Zoren’s ‘kalog’ personality. Because while his action-star image makes him seem like the serious tough-guy type, he’s actually quite the opposite IRL. His fambam swears that the funny, playful Zoren we saw on “GGV” is the real him.

And speaking of discoveries, apparently, even the Legaspis still have a few stories they haven’t shared with one another.

During the “Deep Truth” segment, Mavy revealed that he was once scolded and embarrassed by a director on set who mistakenly thought he was throwing shade at a fellow actor. What made this tea even more surprising was that his family had absolutely no idea that it happened. As Carmina mentioned, “Hindi niya sinabi kaya akala namin charot charot lang.”

But aside from the shocking confessions, Mavy also appreciated how their guesting highlighted the family’s ‘pakikisama’ or ability to get along with other people, especially Meme Vice. While he and Cassy often bond with the Unkabogable Superstar at parties, being interviewed by her in front of the cameras was a different experience. Thankfully, there were no awkward walls to break down because the rapport was already there.

As Carmina put it, “Hindi naman kailangan magkita araw-araw to say that we’re really close but you’ll feel the sincerity.”

We all know Meme Vice can squeeze the most interesting stories out of her guests, but what if she takes on the hot seat for a change? We asked the Legaspis what they’d love to know about Meme Vice, and they had some interesting questions for her.

For Cassy and Mavy, they’d like to know if there was ever a point when Vice considered quitting showbiz. Meanwhile, Carmina and Zoren are more curious about what her life looks like when the cameras aren’t rolling. With her super-busy schedule, how do she and Ion Perez manage to find time for each other?

To wrap up their “GGV” stint, we also asked the Legaspis to sum it all up in just one word, and their answers ranged from “hilarious” and “suspense” to “saya.” But Zoren’s was probably the most spot-on and expressive of them all, “Dang!”
