Kendall Jenner addresses dating rumors with Cara Delevingne: ‘I’m like, what?’
Kendall Jenner set the record straight on rumors linking her romantically to longtime friend Cara Delevingne.
In an episode of The Kardashians, the model brought up the long-running speculation about their relationship, explaining that their close friendship had led some people to assume they were dating.
“You know, we should address this,” Kendall said while sitting across Cara at the backstage of a fashion week show in Paris.
“People think I’m a lesbian, to this day, because of our love for each other. I’m not! And I feel like you, out of everyone, would know.”
Cara agreed with Kendall’s statement, saying: “I can attest to the fact that you’re not.”
Kendall then shared her thoughts on the possibility of being intimate with a woman, making it clear that while she had nothing against the idea, she had never felt the desire to pursue it.
“By the way, I wouldn’t be opposed to having some fun with a girl, let me tell you,” Kendall confessed. “For the record, I think being a lesbian would be fun and amazing and easier? I don’t know. Men suck.”
She added: “People are always like, ‘She’s definitely a lesbian. Her and Cara were definitely dating.’ I’m like, what?”
When Cara asked Kendall which woman she would consider being intimate with, the model playfully named her longtime friend.
“You! Obviously,” Kendall told her. “You’re the only woman that I know would be nice to me.”
This is not the first time Kendall has addressed speculations about her sexuality. In January, the model spoke about the persistent online rumors and the way people discuss the possibility that she is a closeted lesbian.
Rather than focusing solely on the speculation itself, Kendall said she was particularly bothered by the unkind reactions she encountered online.
“Then there’s the whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” she said. “You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it. It’s not with, like, a welcoming arm of like, ‘Hey, if you were, yes, come join.’ It’s not kind. It’s very mean.”
Kendall also acknowledged that coming out can be difficult for many people, while explaining that she would be open about her sexuality if she identified differently.
“I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people,” she said. “And I’m not saying that’s an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life, I’d be out if I was.”
She ended her explanation by clarifying her current stance without ruling out the possibility of unexpected experiences in the future.
“All’s to say, as of today, I am not,” she clarified. “I don’t think I will be, but I’m not closing doors to experiences in life,” Kendall quipped.
Cara has been in a longtime relationship with her girlfriend, musical artist Minke.
Meanwhile, Kendall has been linked to actor Jacob Elordi since early 2026, with the two reportedly seen spending time together on several occasions. However, they are yet to publicly confirm the status of their relationship.
