Danica Sotto, Dina Bonnevie cheer on Caela’s volleyball journey as she turns 15
Actress Dina Bonnevie and daughter Danica Sotto-Pingris took to social media to celebrate Danica’s daughter, Caela, on her 15th birthday.
On Instagram, Danica penned a heartfelt message for her only daughter with former basketball player Marc Pingris, sharing her hopes and prayers for Caela as she grows into a young woman.
“My prayer is that you continue to grow into a strong, loving, and beautiful woman, inside and out. Always remember that what makes you truly beautiful is your heart, your kindness, your character, and the way you love and care for others,” Danica said.
She also reminded Caela to keep her faith close as she navigates the different stages of her life.
“As you grow and life takes you in different directions, just know that we’ll always have your back. And most importantly, remember that God loves you and knows what’s best for you. Trust Him, keep Him close, and always remember who you are. We love you so much, Caela! Happy birthday! 💕,” Danica continued.
Dina, meanwhile, expressed how proud she is of her granddaughter, particularly of her dedication to volleyball.
“My dear beautiful granddaughter, Caela, watching you shine on the volleyball court fills my heart with so much pride. 🏐❤️ I am incredibly proud of the talented, determined, and hardworking young woman you are becoming,” Dina wrote.
Beyond Caela’s achievements on the court, Dina said she hopes her granddaughter will continue to grow with strong faith and a clear sense of her worth.
“But beyond all your victories, medals, and accomplishments, what I pray for most is that you grow into a woman who knows and loves God, whose heart is kind, whose character is strong, and whose faith guides her through every season of life,” she said.
“Always remember that your worth is not measured by how many points you score or how many games you win. You are precious because you are God’s beautiful creation, and you are deeply loved.”
Dina assured Caela that she will continue to be there for her not only in her volleyball journey but also through every chapter of her life.
“I will always be here cheering you on—not only from the sidelines of the volleyball court, but through every chapter of your life. I love you more than words can say, and I pray that God continues to protect you, guide you, and bless the path He has prepared for you.”

Caela is Danica and Marc’s only daughter. The couple also has two sons, Jean Michael and Jean-Luc.
Seemingly following the footsteps of her dad, Caela is making her in the volleyball sports where she previously won awards. Last year, Caela received the Best Opposite Hitter award during a competition.
“The Domuschola Volleyball Team clinched victory as Division 2 champions at the Shakey’s GVIL Cup. An extra bonus is the award that Caela received. We really weren’t expecting anything but TYL! More importantly, we’re amazed by the dedication and hard work of each team member. Proud of our girls!! Go Badgers!!!!” Danica proudly expressed.
