From mind-reading to spotting deception: The dating superpowers “Sparks Camp” Season 4 campers wish they had

Getting to know someone means confronting your feelings and looking beyond their charming façade to discover who they truly are. In “Sparks Camp” Season 4, the journey takes a fresh twist as a diverse new group of campers explore their sparks and seek deeper connections in this queer dating reality show.

To kick off the camp vibes, we threw our campers a quick-fire question: “If you could have any dating superpower at camp, what would it be?” Their answers ranged from witty and heartwarming to surprisingly revealing.

Michael wished for the power of mind-reading, explaining, “To be able to know kung may gusto sa akin ‘yung tao.” Gio shared the same sentiment, saying, “Para walang mixed signals.”

EJ kept the streak going with a straightforward answer. He quipped, “Mind-reading. I want to know agad if they like me. If you don’t like me, let’s not waste time. I’m not gonna date that person na.”

Meanwhile, Jury wished for the ability to shake off his nervousness. “Kasi usually, kapag meron akong dine-date, kinakabahan ako agad, mga ganon. Para wala ‘yung hiya,” he explained, hoping the superpower would help him feel more confident.

Shifting the focus to trust, Joaquin wanted the ability to detect manipulation and dishonesty from a mile away. Howie echoed the sentiment with a simple yet telling answer: “Seeing through deception.”

True to form, Ian chose authenticity as their superpower, saying, “Just being Ian, the ‘makulit,’ or sobrang hyper-energetic na tao sa camp.” Meanwhile, Tommy kept things quirky, wishing he could grow taller during his time at camp.

Rounding out the answers, The Beej shared a heartfelt wish: to relive one more day at camp. “Super exciting ng mga nangyari doon sa camp namin. Kahit isang araw na gusto ko sanang mabalikan,” he said.
