“PBB” hosts give each other witty monikers and spill more in these bukingan challenges!

The strongest friendships survive anything, just like the bond among our “Pinoy Big Brother” hosts who have been through different seasons and exciting beginnings and unexpected changes together. Even as they move into a new home, they will always be one big, happy family. In fact, that family just got a little bigger with Michael Sager joining the crew.  

So, in this exclusive video, their closeness was put to the test with some ‘bukingan’ challenges. First on the agenda, Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee, Gabbi Garcia, Alexa Ilacad, and Michael must come up with the perfect moniker for a fellow host whose name they’d randomly pick, completing the phrase, “Ang ________ sa Pamilya ni Kuya.”

With her one-of-a-kind humor, Melai gave her fellow hosts plenty of inspiration for their answers. Both Michael and Robi thought “Ang Happy Pill sa Pamilya ni Kuya” would be the perfect title for her, while Alexa suggested “Ang Kuan sa Pamilya ni Kuya,” which is so on-brand for the funny BisDak of the bunch. And because Melai’s infectious smile is part of her charm, too, Enchong thought of baptizing her with, “Ang Ngipin sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” 

Speaking of Enchong, Gabbi tagged him as the “Papable sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” And very much vocal about her huge crush on him, Alexa called Enchong “Ang Fantasy sa Pamilya ni Kuya,” or rather, her own fantasy. 

The squad also has a soft spot for Alexa, whom Gabbi crowned as “Ang Princess sa Pamilya ni Kuya,” while Robi described her as the one who brings “freshness” to the family. 

Meanwhile, Robi’s monikers had one common theme—his daddy era! Alexa called him “Daddy Robi,” while Melai went with “Ang Ulirang Ama sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” Bianca likewise dubbed him “Ang Bagong Daddy sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” 

For Bianca, the ‘senior’ of the group, Enchong thought “Ang Captain sa Pamilya ni Kuya” suited her best, while Robi called her “Ang Puso sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” Michael went for a more literal description of her hosting duties, “Ang Nagsasabi Kung Sino ang Mae-evict,” well, he’s not wrong.  

Gabbi also received some sweet epithets from her fellow hosts. Melai described her as “Ang Muse sa Pamilya ni Kuya,” while Bianca went with “Ang Fashionista sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” Add to that “Ang Puso sa Pamilya ni Kuya” given by Enchong.  

The newest member of the family, Michael, was welcomed with flattering aliases as well, with Melai calling him “Ang Hunky Bunky sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” And then Bianca emphasized his newest status by calling him “Ang Pinakabago at Bunso sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” Since he picked his own name from the bowl, Michael had to give himself a moniker, which was “Ang Bago sa Pamilya ni Kuya.” 

For the next challenge, they were asked to pick one fellow host they’d want as their ‘duo’ for a task. Enchong’s ideal pick was Robi, whom he considers a longtime contemporary. “We grew up together,” he said.  

Gabbi, meanwhile, went for someone she considers a real-life big sister, none other than Bianca, from whom she’s learned a lot about hosting and whom she turns to for life talks. “May time na pumasok ako ng ‘PBB’ na umiiyak ako kasi may pinagdaanan akong problem tapos siya ‘yung una kong sinabihan,” shared Gabbi. And if they were a duo, they’d be known as ‘BiBbi’!  

Alexa didn’t need lengthy explanation for why she’d choose Enchong as her duo, “Basta siya gusto ko.” He is her crush! Period.  

Michael, on the other hand, had a pretty strategic reason for choosing Alexa. Having watched her during her time as a “PBB” housemate, he knows just how smart and resourceful she can be. And since they’re going to be hosting partners for the online show, it looks like they’ve got the teamwork part covered, too. 

Of course, Melai had to pick her hosting ‘partner’ Enchong. Jokingly, Robi acted like he had no choice but to team up with Melai. But kidding aside, he thinks it would be nice to have a duo he could enjoy the task with, “Kung matalo kami, tatawanan na lang namin ‘yung problema.” 

Bianca would also choose Melai because just having her as a partner already makes her feel like a winner. After all, Melai is dubbed the “Big Winner of all Big Winners” for how she’s continued winning in life even after her “PBB” victory.
