1.25 million passengers passing through NAIA during Undas: airport operator
MANILA — Some 1.25 million passengers are expected to pass through the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) during the All Saints’ Day holiday period from October 27 to November 4, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said Monday.
October 30 is expected to be the busiest day, with about 149,000 travelers passing through, according to the airport operator.
The NNIC said that during the All Saints’ Day holiday, more policemen will be deployed at terminal entrances, curbside areas, and parking facilities. NNIC added that its partner agencies will also deploy more traffic marshals and schedule inter-terminal shuttle services around passenger arrival and departure peaks.
The airport operator also said it will coordinate with road authorities and adjust taxi and shuttle services during peak periods. NNIC also said more screening personnel and checkpoints will be available during peak hours, and technical teams will be on standby to address equipment problems.
