Heavy metal band Disturbed to hold Manila concert in 2027
Live Nation Philippines announced on Tuesday, October 27, that the group will perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 25, 2027.
The concert is called Disturbed – The Sickness & the Greatest Hits, and it comes in two parts. The band will open by playing every track from The Sickness, its first album, then come back for a second set of its most popular songs.
The Sickness, which came out in 2000, was the band’s big breakthrough. In the US, it has gone five times platinum and stayed on the Billboard 200 albums chart for more than two years. Its singles include “Down With the Sickness,” “Stupify,” “Voices,” and “The Game.”
Disturbed started out in Chicago in 1994. The current lineup is singer David Draiman, guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren and bassist John Moyer.
The band is also known for its 2015 cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.” The song’s music video has passed one billion views on YouTube.
The two-set show first launched in 2025 to mark the 25th year of The Sickness. According to Live Nation, more than 500,000 people have since watched it across North America, Europe and the UK.
Before the Manila stop, the band will tour arenas in Australia and New Zealand starting in April 2027. It is their first headlining run there in more than a decade.
