MANILA — The Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group will deploy hundreds of its personnel across thoroughfares in the country to prepare for the anticipated influx of motorists for Undas.

PNP-HPG Director Police Brigadier General Joyce Patrick Sangalang said a total of 753 police members will man the roads.

“Inilabas po natin lahat ng ating mga tauhan at katuwang ang 88 police highway patrol teams po natin sa lahat ng probinsya ng ating kapuluan,” Sangalang told state-run media PTV in a phone interview Tuesday, October 27.

Inspection of major bus terminals are also underway beginning Monday, October 26 until November 3 to ensure safety and order of passengers.

Sangalang added that they have talked with transport operators to remind their public utility vehicle drivers against violations.

The police official also reminded drivers to ensure roadworthiness of their vehicles and be disciplined in driving.
