“Kulang” Vice, Gian at Maki, bumuo ng original na kanta | Gandang Gabi, Vice!

OPM favorites Gian Bernardino (of Cup of Joe) and Maki, who have mastered the art of making us soak in all the feels through their music, got real about their own experiences with love and heartbreak during their guest appearance on “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

But if there’s a silver lining to all that love gone sour, it’s that the pain helped fuel their creativity and inspired them to write songs straight from the heart.

After exchanging stories about their past not-so-happily-ever-afters, Gian and Maki turned all that hugot into music by coming up with a song together with Vice Ganda, right on the spot, giving their impromptu collaboration the title “Kulang.”

Maki set the mood with, “Binigay ko lahat ng puso. Bigla na lang ako nabigo,” and then Gian made the lyrics hurt even more with, “Saan ba nagkulang ang aking binigay sa’yo? Lahat ng pangarap, lahat ng sana’y hindi na mabilang.“

The emotional damage turned more ‘saksak-puso’ when Vice finished the song with, “O mayron bang kulang? Baka naman sumobra pero hindi nakita. Saan kaya napunta ang pag-ibig ko para sa kan’ya.” The hugot was definitely hugot-ing!
