This honor follows Butcher Boy’s grand opening at its new, expanded location on Alabang West Parade on Daang Hari Road in Muntinlupa City. The event, led by Chua, welcomed guests and loyal patrons to a larger venue designed to attract a growing customer base in southern Metro Manila.

Founded by Michelin-starred chef Andrew Walsh of Singapore’s acclaimed Cure, Butcher Boy built a loyal following at its former Makati location. The relocation to Alabang in 2026 met the demand for more space and easier access for new and existing diners.

“Mas marami ‘yung food traffic right now,” said marketing head Aubrey S. Mojica, noting the benefit of the high-visibility mall location.

On the menu, guests can look forward to favorites like the Michelin-highlighted chicken laksa dumplings, fried chicken bao, pork adobo, Asian tacos, a variety of steaks, and creative cocktails. “Mostly, we adapted the menu namin sa Makati before, but we added other items. The atmosphere, the vibe, and the quantity and quality of the food, ‘yun pa rin ‘yon,” Mojica said.

The core of Butcher Boy’s appeal is its “east meets west” approach. By combining Southeast Asian ingredients with Western cooking techniques and plating, the restaurant creates bold, balanced flavors for casual yet elevated dining.

“Butcher Boy is not just about the food, it’s about the services that we give to the people,” Mojica emphasized about their dedication to hospitality.
