Celebrities Turn Their Dreams and Nightmares Into Reality at Shake, Rattle, & Ball 2026

One of the most anticipated Halloween parties in the country arrived, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

This year, Shake, Rattle, & Ball presents LUCID, a celebration of the stars and personalities’ lucid dreams and nightmares. Conceptualized by eventologist Tim Yap, the theme explores the fascinating space between dreams and reality.

“I wanted to explore something that is, you know, that space in between dreams and nightmares, so you can find the reality in between. The ball is all about imagination; it’s about community and creativity,” Tim told Metro.Style.

Beyond the elaborate costumes and imaginative interpretations of the theme, Tim also hoped to create an immersive experience for the guests, allowing them to connect with the scene and feel as though they had been transported to another world—one where they could celebrate both their dreams and nightmares.
