Palace welcomes results of SWS survey on Filipino family poverty situation

Malacañang welcomed on Saturday the results of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) nationwide survey which showed that one out of three Filipino families had escaped poverty in the first quarter of this year. “We welcome the latest Social Weather Stations report showing one out of three, or 30%, of Filipino families escaped poverty,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said during a press briefing.
