Duterte to send warships to Libya if pirates hurt abducted Filipino engineers

President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday said he would send warships to Libya if pirates would dare hurt the three Filipino engineers they have abducted.

In a speech in Bukidnon, Duterte said he will raise the idea of sending frigates to Libya during a command conference on August 7.

“Korea has… nagpadala ng barko doon. You know I’m not joking. Magpadala din ako pag they begin to hurt the Filipinos doon, magpadala ako ng frigate. L*ch* kayo, namihasa kayo, yung oppression,” Duterte said.

“I will decide between… may command conference ako on August 7. After the Cabinet meeting, I’ll bring it up. Huwag yung basta basta na lang ganunin, kayo (pirates) ang putulan ko ng ulo,” he said.
