Unexpected match? McCoy and Daniela test-drive their “Someone, Someday’s” characters’ compatibility

“Someone, Someday” is loaded with interesting characters, every single one with a story to tell. For the posh influencer Valerie Jones (Daniela Stranner) and the troublesome hacker Caloy Toledo (McCoy de Leon), they share similarities in the unconventional ways they fight for who they love.

We’ve all witnessed Valerie’s past relationship with Jordan (James Reid) as well as Caloy’s romantic bond with Bea (Maja Salvador), but let’s figure out whether Valerie and Caloy are actually compatible once they finish each other’s dating profiles in this fun-filled interview!

Starting off, the two went over their characters’ most distinguishing physical features and overall style. Daniela highlighted Caloy’s eye-catching tattoos and charming eyes as his biggest green flags, while McCoy brought attention to Valerie’s elegant dresses.

When asked about their ideal first date, McCoy easily detailed that Valerie would undoubtedly choose BGC (Bonifacio Global City), Makati City, or any fine-dining restaurants for the setting. On the other hand, Daniela guessed that Caloy would be happy with fish balls, mami, and puto bumbong—the crowd-favorite Filipino street foods. “[Parang] nasasaktan ako [nang] onti,” McCoy joked at their amusing differences.

As for their red flags, Daniela playfully commented that Caloy can’t afford her fancy needs. Meanwhile, McCoy spoke lightheartedly about Valerie’s standards: “[Si] Valerie ‘pag pinagsalitaan ka niya, parang [titingnan ka mula] ulo hanggang paa.”

In response to the most-awaited question of whether they would date each other’s characters, McCoy swiftly agreed. Daniela also expressed a possibility, with emphasis on their “Uptown Girl” trope.

Keep up with Valerie and McCoy’s pursuits of love in “Someone, Someday,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8:45 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
