EZ Mil and Eminem release Naruto-inspired track ‘Madara’
Filipino American rapper EZ Mil has joined forces with Eminem once again, this time for “Madara,” a new single that combines hip-hop with the world of Japanese anime.
The track also features Japanese rapper Hideyoshi and veteran voice actor Neil Kaplan, bringing together artists from different backgrounds for a collaboration built around one of anime’s most recognizable villains.
The song takes its name from Madara Uchiha, an antagonist in the popular Japanese anime series Naruto. Drawing from the character’s commanding reputation, EZ Mil delivers forceful verses about being indestructible, matching the song’s aggressive tone.
The track’s official lyric video further brings the concept to life through animated versions of EZ Mil and Eminem fighting side by side in a battle.
Adding another layer to the anime-inspired release is Neil, who voiced Madara in the English-language version of Naruto. His spoken performance reinforces the song’s dark atmosphere and connection to the character.
Meanwhile, Hideyoshi brings Japanese verses to the collaboration, complementing EZ Mil’s rapid-fire English delivery. The two also switch to Japanese during the chorus, giving the track a multilingual dimension that reflects EZ Mil’s ability to move between different musical styles.
The release marks another musical link between EZ Mil and Eminem, who played a key role in introducing the Filipino American rapper to a wider international audience.
Their first collaboration came with “Realest,” released in August 2023 after EZ Mil signed with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records.
EZ Mil later appeared on Eminem’s 2024 album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), delivering Tagalog verses on the track “Head Honcho.”
The Filipino American rapper previously spoke about meeting Eminem for the first time, recalling how the rap superstar’s humility left a lasting impression on him.
“He is so humble. I was so star struck when I met him,” EZ Mil shared back in 2024. “He is just so humble. That surprised me. His head is not in the clouds. He is really just a stout guy. (He) raps really good.”
EZ Mil also revealed that while he does not often seek advice, one lesson from Eminem has stayed with him throughout his career.
“Actually, I don’t take advice that often but one that really stuck from me is actually from Sir Eminem. He said stay authentic, stay you. Just keep doing your thing,” he shared.
