John Prats thanks KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde as ‘In Between’ concert series comes to a close
Actor and director John Prats took to social media to express his gratitude to singer-songwriters KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde as they wrapped up their In Between concert series.
On Instagram, John shared photos capturing memorable moments from the couple’s shows, as well as their journey together through TJ’s Sarili Nating Mundo world tour and In Between concert series.
“Habang nag-scroll ako sa photo gallery ko, ang daming memories na bumabalik. Kulang ang photos sa post na ’to para ipakita lahat ng nabuo natin sa SNM at In-Between tour. 🥹,” John first wrote.
The actor-director also thanked the team with whom he worked closely together over the past years, saying their bond had grown beyond their work onstage.
“To this team, super grateful ako sa bawat isa sa inyo. Salamat sa lahat, especially sa bonding nating walang katapusan, tawanan, at samahang naging pamilya na,” John said.
He went on: “To the best prod team, salamat sa puso, sipag, at malasakit na binigay ninyo sa bawat show. Sa lahat ng puyat, pagod, at challenges, ang sarap sa pakiramdam na kayo ang kasama ko. Sobrang proud at blessed ako to have worked with each of you. Bawat show may bahagi ng puso ninyo. 🤍”
John then thanked KZ and TJ for trusting him to direct their concert series, saying the experience had given them more than just memorable shows.
“TJ and KZ, thank you for trusting me and letting me be part of your world. Sobrang saya makabuo ng mga pangarap at memories kasama kayo. Beyond the shows, ang pinaka-treasure ko ay yung friendship at pamilya na nabuo natin. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. 🤍”
As the concert series came to an end, John expressed how much he would miss the people he had shared the journey with traveling across the regions and to different places around the world.
“Ang hirap isipin na nandito na tayo sa dulo. I’m going to miss each and every one of you. 😢 Mahal ko kayo, fam. Thank You, Lord, for letting me share this journey with them. 🤍,” he said.
KZ and TJ recently concluded the final two shows of their In Between concert series in Qatar and Dubai over the weekend.
During their final show in Dubai, KZ became emotional as fans and concertgoers cheered for her to hold her own solo concert.
In a previous interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, the couple also opened up about the bittersweet feeling of ending their joint concert journey after years of working alongside the same team.
“Three years magkasama kami. Hindi lang naman kami, yung isang buong-buong team yung magkasama. So bittersweet sa amin kasi pagkakapalit na yung mga mukha namin for the past years. Every weekend kami magkasama, and ngayon dalawa na lang yung natitira,” TJ said.
“Bittersweet pero very grateful and happy that we get to do this. Of course, hindi lahat nabibigyan ng chance na ganito,” he added. “Hindi namin alam when it’ll happen again, when we’re able to do it again, if we will. But still grateful that when a chapter closes, another one opens. Another chapter is being started.”
